Security
Security is foundational at Archangel. We protect sensitive healthcare data with administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, operate as a HIPAA Business Associate, and are actively pursuing SOC 2. Have a security question? Contact us at: security@go-archangel.com.
OUR COMMITMENT TO SECURITY
At Archangel, protecting the information entrusted to us is foundational to how we operate. Our clients across home health, mobile wound care, and DME billing rely on us to handle sensitive patient and business data with care — and we take that responsibility seriously every day.
How we protect your data
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data we handle. These include measures such as:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Role-based access controls and least-privilege access, so team members reach only the data they need
- Continuous monitoring and logging of our systems
- Reputable, secured cloud infrastructure
- Ongoing review of our security practices as our platform and the threat landscape evolve
Built for healthcare
Archangel operates as a Business Associate under HIPAA. We enter into Business Associate Agreements with our covered-entity clients and align our handling of protected health information (PHI) with the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules.
Pursuing SOC 2
We are actively pursuing SOC 2 — an independent examination of the controls we use to protect customer data. This reflects our ongoing commitment to recognized industry standards and to continuous improvement in how we safeguard the information our clients trust us with.
Privacy
We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. To learn what we collect and how we use it, please see our Privacy Policy by clicking this link: Link to Privacy Policy
Our people and partners
Security is a team effort. Our workforce receives security and privacy awareness training, and we evaluate the security practices of the vendors and partners who help support our platform.
Responding to incidents
We monitor for security events and maintain processes to respond promptly. In the event of a security incident affecting protected information, we will notify affected clients and individuals consistent with our contractual and legal obligations.
Questions or concerns
